⁵² but he slipped out of the linen cloth and ran off naked.

⁵³ Jesus Is Condemned by the Sanhedrin.^[a] They led Jesus away to the high priest, where the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes were gathering. ⁵⁴ Meanwhile, Peter had followed him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest, and he was sitting there with the attendants, warming himself at the fire.
